With the launch of our brand new fabulous Undressed Lip Duos, we thought it would be a lovely idea to share a Get The Look with the gorgeous Sarah from our campaign shoot!
This look is super versatile and can be incorporated into any kind of makeup look, whether it be for day to night, it’s totally up to you!
Let’s start off with prepping and perfecting the base starting with Beauty Base Pearl Primer. Of course, we all know how good Beauty Base Pearl is for the skin. It has SPF 30 for UVA and UVB protection, Hyaluronic Acid for skin hydration and peptides for some plumpness to the skin. It also gives a blurring effect to the skin to even out your skin tone and blur any imperfections. Sarah already has amazing skin but it gave such a lovely pearlescent hue to her complexion!
Beauty Base is the perfect go to product for your no makeup days, and recommend working this into the skin in circular motions as the warmth of your fingers really blends it in for a radiant and fresh looking appearance!
Next up is our Second Skin 100% Mineral Foundation. Second Skin has so many wonderful benefits for the skin. It’s non-comedogenic and won’t clog your pores, it has SPF 30 for some added protection and it won’t give you flashback in photos! This is why it is such a stable product in our makeup collection, especially for our shoot days!
Sarah is wearing one of our brand new Second Skin Shade Extensions in shade Fair Golden 2.75. We chose the dewy finish for her as it is suitable for people who have dry/dehydrated skin. It had a medium/buildable coverage and gives such a luminous finish to the skin, especially under the studio lights.
We used a Beauty Buffer Complexion Brush to buff this into the skin for a quick and easy application. However this can also be worked into the skin using your fingers to even out your skin tone.
For underneath the eyes, we added some Brighten Up Concealer in shade 1.0 Vanilla. Brighten Up is the perfect product to pop underneath the eyes or any areas you would like to brighten due to it’s super creamy texture. It glides onto the skin and blends seamlessly for a quick pick me up.
Top Tip: Always choose a shade lighter than your natural skin tone for underneath the eyes to really brighten and lift the area!
The great thing about Brighten Up is that it’s enriched with Niacinamide, which is super hydrating for underneath the eyes, as we all know it is such a delicate area! We used our Blender Brush to blend this seamlessly into the skin and we think it really helps to brighten and waken you up, so you don’t have to worry about any dark circles appearing!
If you feel any areas need that extra bit of touching up, then our Complete Cover Up Concealer is the product for you. Sarah is wearing shade Fair 2.0.
As you can see, Sarah has barely any blemishes, so we popped a small bit onto her chin and any areas that showed a slight bit of redness.
Complete Cover Up differs to Brighten Up due to its consistency. It has a matte finish, meaning it provides slightly more coverage. We suggest applying this to any areas with blemishes, redness, hyperpigmentation or wherever you feel is most appropriate.
Again, this works well with your fingers using a tapping motion on the skin, or any small application brush. We recommend our Complexion Brush again for this as it has a dual ended side with a smaller, denser concealer brush for precise application!
Both of our concealers are also mineral and non-comedogenic, so you can wear both as much as you want and feel guilt free!
Now that her base is complete, it’s time to add some life back into the cheeks with our Beauty Blocks 4 in 1 Palette. This palette is so versatile and tailored to suit your exact skin tone. We chose shade ‘Light’ for Sarah as she has a fairer complexion.
This Palette comes with 4 shades; Medium Matte Bronze, Pearl Pop Cream Highlight, Rose gold Glow Highlight and Pink Peony Blush.
- First, take your Setter Brush and apply some of our Medium Matte Bronze to the areas of the face where the sun naturally hits; your cheekbones for some definition, the sides of the nose, a sweep across the temple and into the hollows of the eye socket with a Blender Brush.
- Next, take your Pink Peony Blush and sweep some of this onto the apples of the cheeks for a gorgeous touch of colour to the face.
- For highlight, using your finger to warm the product, tap Pearl Pop Cream Highlight onto the high points of your face; the tops of the cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, the cupid’s bow and right under the browbone.
- To set all of these areas, you can then go in with your Rose Gold Glow Highlight for the finish touch of glow and luminosity to your look. We love our Double Ended Brush to apply this.
The best part of this entire look is adding your statement lip to top it all off.
We are using our Brand New Undressed Lip Duos collection, ranging from 3 beautiful and universal nude shades; Nude, Naked and Bare.
Nude features a classic warm toned nude with a sandy brown liner combined with a neutral lipstick. Naked is a universally loved soft pink classed with a deeper rose brown liner. Bare is a modern take on a deep brown liner with a warm brown lipstick.
We chose shade Bare for Sarah as the warm brown undertone really complimented her skin tone and accentuated her eyes. We firstly lined her lips with the lipliner and filled in the rest for a solid base for the lipstick to be applied on top. This way your lipstick will not budge for the day.
These shades can be worn and loved by all skin tones. If you would like to see these shades for yourself, you can always check out our Undressed Lip Duo Blog!
Now that makeup is complete, we went in with a quick spritz of our Hydrate & Hold Setting Spray to lock everything into place. Hydrate & Hold is the perfect handbag hero and helps to keep your makeup in place for the entire day thanks to the Lemon Extracts and Centella Asiatica enriched within.
It really helps to keep Sarah’s skin looking super plump and refreshed so it’s a key product to bring along for quick touch ups in between shoots!
As you can tell, Sarah already has amazing brows so not much product is needed here, but we went in with a quick brush of some Benefit Gimme Brows to keep the hairs in place with some added volume. We also used Benefit Roller Lash to curl the lashes and give her eyes that added lift.
And there you have it! 12 quick and easy simple steps to create this fabulous and glowing look featuring our Brand New Undressed Lip Duos. These shades are so beautiful on all skin tones and we think they’re going to be a favourite amongst so many of you!
