How do I pick my shade?
We always recommend going a shade lighter than your foundation in order to noticeably brighten the complexion and camouflage shadows. Our concealer blog post will help you learn how to shade match to our Second Skin product. You’ll also find some great before and after pics that will help you find the perfect shade for you. How is it best to apply Brighten Up?
You can apply Brighten Up directly from the wand and blend it with your fingertips or a brush.

Should I apply before or after foundation?
Applying Brighten Up before or after your foundation is a matter of personal preference. Both methods work! Do note, however, that Brighten Up is intended for use on the under-eye area where we do not recommend applying foundation. Layering products under the eye can cause unwanted build-up and creasing.

How do I stop my concealer from creasing?
Creasing happens when too much product has been applied or the skin is particularly oily. We recommend working in ultra light layers when applying concealer so that you get a smooth, crease-free finish. If you have oily skin or are concerned about the product slipping, add a touch of Velvet Veil™, our finishing powder, to keep everything in place for the day.
