Our fave hair and makeup looks from the Oscars!

Celebs were out in style for the annual Academy Awards 2019! Pink dresses were trending, with metallics following close behind, and old Hollywood glamour black structured dresses as seen on Lady Gaga and Irina Shayk were also very popular!

Of course there were some absolutely stunning makeup looks on the red carpet also; So we've put together some of our favourite hair and makeup looks from the night!

1. Rosie Huntington Whiteley 

We are just in awe of Rosie's look from the red carpet, from top to toe we just think she owns this look! Hair and makeup were polished and sleek, with hair perfectly complementing makeup. Loving the bronzed makeup letting her bone structure pop, teamed with a glowing highlight and paired with a nude lip - we just loved it!

2. Kendall Jenner 

While her dress may have been a risqué choice (she is a supermodel after all so she can probably get away with it!!) we just loved her hair and makeup look. The bouncy blowout and flip style is just hair goals! And we absolutely loved her classic smokey eye and nude lip combo paired with glowing skin. 

3. J Lo 

J Lo just always gets red carpet looks right. Sticking to what works for her with bronzed skin and a gorgeous glow, we loved how she paired this with a soft Hollywood waves. Finishing the look with a nude glossy lip just brought it all together! Can you believe this woman is almost 50?! 

4. Kate Bosworth 

We loved Kate's cute pulled back chignon letting her glittery golden eyeshadow be the standout of her hair and makeup look. Golden tones are everywhere this season. Peachy lips and a pop of blush brought the whole look together! Her dress was different too which is always nice and those earrings are just amazing! 

5. Ashley Graham 

We loved this classic Hollywood look on Ashley Graham. She looked stunning with her sleek pulled back bun letting her makeup be the focal point. We just loved the old school glamour of her brows, accentuated eyeliner and rosy-nude lip. And her dress was simply stunning on her too! 

6. Irina Shayk 

We loved the simplicity of Irina's look. The sleek bob was perfect with her high collared dress, it was just elegance at its best. Her eye makeup was completely paired back letting her bronze, highlight and nude lip be the feature points. Loved this! 

7. Jemma Chan 

Pink was one of the standout colour trends of the red carpet this year and while we're not so sure on this particular dress we did love Jemma's makeup and hair! The whispy upstyle complemented the high neckline of her dress and her cat eye liner was just gorge. Paired with a pinky lip we thought it was just lovely! 

 8 Emilia Clarke

Not totally sold on Emilia's hair colour just yet, but I think that's just because we've been watching GOT for too long! We loved Emilia's makeup look though, pinky tones are a real statement look this year so she was right on trend! Loved the blushed rosy cheeks and soft pink lip that almost matched her dress. Very cute!

Not so favourite; 

Charlize Theron

We know, we know - people are literally raving about Charlize's dark bob but it just doesn't work for us! Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it but we kinda miss her golden and bronzed makeup look! We do like the statement lip though! 

Rachel Weisz 

It just didn't work for us, we don't really understand the dress, hair or makeup! This woman is so stunning but the headband just reminded us of Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl and her makeup washed her out. Would have loved to have seen a stronger lip or eye look on her.
