Happy International Women's Day!

International Women's Day is a time to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide and to recognize the challenges they continue to face. As a female-led business, Sculpted By Aimee is proud to be part of this celebration.

As many of you know, Sculpted By Aimee was founded by Aimee Connolly. Aimee's mission was to create a range of products that were both high-quality and affordable, and make makeup easier for everyone. One of the most inspiring people on the Sculpted By Aimee team is Aimee herself. She has built the business from scratch, starting with just a few products and a small social media following. Today, Sculpted By Aimee is an ever growing business spanning across Ireland, the UK and most recently UAE. This success wouldn't have been possible without Aimee’s passion and determination, our loyal customer base and a team of passionate employees.

We reached out to the Sculpted By Aimee team and asked them about the women who inspire them the most. Here are some of the inspiring women they mentioned.

"I am an extremely lucky lady to be surrounded by extraordinary women in my life. From family, to friends, to mentors and colleagues, there really isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel empowered. However, if I'm to pick the penultimate women who empowers me like no other, hands down, the title has to go to my incredible and everyday inspiring mother; A mum, a grand-mother, a best friend and absolutely everything in between (full time chef, laundrette & taxi driver for years), her sheer determination, unwavering love, caring nature and work ethic is anything short of unrivalled.
